Drama Program

A proud showcase tradition

Denmark Senior High School has a proud tradition of outstanding drama productions and annual showcases that bring together students from across Years 7–12 in a celebration of creativity, performance, and teamwork. Each year, students have the opportunity to develop their skills in acting, singing, music, stage production, lighting, sound, costume design, and backstage management while working collaboratively to produce entertaining and memorable performances for the community.

Our productions are known for their energy, humour, talent, and professionalism, with students dedicating countless hours to rehearsals and preparation throughout the year. From large-scale musical comedies to dramatic performances and annual drama showcases, the productions provide students with a platform to build confidence, creativity, communication skills, and lifelong friendships.

Supported by passionate staff, talented musicians, and a strong school community, the Denmark SHS Drama program continues to inspire students to step onto the stage, challenge themselves creatively, and experience the unique excitement of live theatre. Each performance reflects the dedication, enthusiasm, and spirit that make the performing arts such a valued part of life at Denmark Senior High School.
