In 2025 the school was successful in obtaining a grant of over $49,000 to upgrade the soccer oval, as part of a WA Government initiative under the Community Use of School Sporting Facilities Program.
It is impressive to see the result: verti-mowing and turf repair across the playing surface, the installation of seating bunkers, and a barrier net at the northern end of the grounds to prevent soccer balls from rolling down into the swampy area.
We extend our thanks to the local soccer club, who also contributed to the installation of the barrier netting.
